Meet Me Downtown Walk/Run
Recurring weekly Monday at Copper Blues, Phoenix
Meet Me Downtown Phoenix is a weekly evening get-together designed to build healthy bodies, healthy businesses and a healthy Downtown. Every Monday join the community for a social walk/run through the heart of our city and, in the process, get fit, win prizes, shop local and make friends. Check in at Copper Blues from 5:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., then walk/run 3-5 miles or as far as you’d like. A route guide will be provided. After the walk.run join them for closing ceremonies, incentive awards and prizes. Participants will get a stamp to receive discounts that night at select local restaurants.
NATURE CONNECTS: ART LEGO BRICKS

Nature Connects® is an award-winning, record-breaking exhibition currently touring across the country. Created with over 1 million LEGO® pieces, the show features 27 animal and flora sculptures on the Phoenix Zoo’s trails, built with LEGO bricks thanks to the vision of esteemed artist Sean Kenney.

CAVE CREEK WILD WEST DAYS

This fun event kicks off with bull riding on Wednesday night and features a number of mini-events throughout the Town of Cave Creek for both kids and adults, including a festive parade, bathtub races, pig races, mutton bustin’ (kids riding sheep), a half-pie eating contest, kid’s crafts, a Bachelor/Bachelorette auction, a cornhole tournament, a Battle of the Bars bull riding competition, a Ms. Wild West Days contest, a horseback Poker Trail Ride, a motorcycle ride, special performances from award-winning re-enactment group, The Prescott Regulators & Their Shady Ladies, a special performance by Jan Marrou, “Legends of the West”, live music by the country band Mogollon, a gun raffle and much more.

Scottsdale ArtWalk is much like a large, easy-going open house for the Scottsdale Arts District located primarily along Main Street and Marshall Way in Scottsdale Downtown. “America’s Original ArtWalk”, this weekly gathering takes place every Thursday evening (year-round, except Thanksgiving) when all member galleries belonging to the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) open their doors to the public and show off the work of the Southwest’s outstanding artists. A 30-year tradition, the ArtWalk process is simple; proceed at your own pace, wander into galleries that capture your fancy, stroll around a delightful area punctuated by dramatic statues, bubbling fountains, tree-covered courtyards, famed restaurants and more. Horse-drawn carriage rides and trolley rides are often available from plentiful free parking areas nearby.

The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships: Horses and Horsepower is one of the Valley’s most spectacular social occasions and an event that has gone from a bold experiment in fusing a sport on the rise with a region’s love of exotic cars. This year’s lineup features Polo Azteca vs. LaJolla Polo Team, the Palm Springs Polo Team vs. Arizona’s own Polo Club, and the reigning champions, the Aspen Valley Polo Club vs. Palm Beach Polo Team. End the day with The Women’s Sunset Polo Match and Cultural Concert, and a fireworks finale.
