Arcadia Lite offers mid-range priced homes just west of historic Arcadia. This area extends about a square half mile and provides mostly Ranch style homes built in the 50s and 60s. Arcadia Lite gives the feel of the Arcadia neighborhood without the price. Reaching from 36th and 32nd just further west of Arcadia, Arcadia Lite was among one of the hottest neighborhoods to live in by Phoenix Magazine. They also have claimed that Arcaida Lite is “trendsetting” and is the “move-up home” after the starter home. With medium sized homes Arcadia real estate range from the mid $200,000 to surpassing $600,000.

Much of the Arcadia Lite homes began construction as early as 1947 and the neighborhood continued to be built out through the early 1960’s. Arcadia Lite has some recently knocked down and rebuilt homes that in many cases the developers have done a great job of keeping the feeling of the original neighborhood.
Because most families only had one car in the days when Arcadia Lite was being built many of these homes were built originally with a one car carport. Some homes have had the carport converted into a garage and others have added completely new garages, but many carports still exists.
