Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! If you need a new place to try this weekend, head over to one of these amazing restaurants.

Matt’s Big Breakfast

03outside-matts-big-breakfast-downtown-phoenix-restaurantLocated in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, you will always find Matt’s Big Breakfast full of satisfied customers! The homemade honey lemonade, bottomless coffee and the fresh squeezed orange juice are the best way to start your morning. Followed by sweet, fluffy pancakes, Belgium waffles or The Chop & Chick (a hearty plate filled with a pork chop, eggs and hash browns/home fries). Although the restaurant itself is fairly small and the menu isn’t very long, the wait is always worth it and you will never leave disappointed.

60Original Breakfast House

Looking for some outstanding French Toast? Look no further! The Original Breakfast House is known for its HUGE, fluffy “San Francisco” style french toast. Thick slices of sourdough bread, soaked in egg batter, vanilla & cinnamon, and then deep fried until its slightly crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside. If sweet food isn’t your thing, the menu still has plenty more to offer. The homemade biscuits & gravy or the breakfast sandwich come highly recommended from former patrons, as well as the scrambles and Huevos Rancheros Verde.
